DON’T MISS THE CHANCE TO BE A BLESSING
Fasten your eyes on the needs in your local community. Stop, look and discern.
Slow-down a little and take a look around. All of us can do some thing for some one that will make a difference. Don't miss the chance being too busy and too preoccupied.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO LOOK OPPORTUNITY IN THE EYE
It isn’t rocket science, it’s just an opportunity. Somehow we have become intimidated by the challenges and stopped recognizing them as opportunities to help have a positive impact in the lives of others.
We can’t live our lives in fear. The Holy Spirit knows what we have to be able to offer to help others for the challenge at hand. That is why certain people cross our paths at different times in our lives. Life offers a series of exchanges whereby we have an chance to give/share with others and sow into their lives. Mentoring a young person, a kind word/encouragment, giving a drink of water or plate of food are all deemed small things in our eyes but they are major in terms of long-term impact for someone else. Sometimes we have to look past the exterior, hard places, things that make us uncomfortable and help to meet the needs of others.
GIVE ‘EM WHATCHA GOT
This is not about money. As a matter of fact in the text they didn’t have any.
We have unparalleled resurrection power, peace that passes understanding, the ability to overcome, faith that moves mountains. Give that to others in practical ways based in the resources that you do have and don't focus so much on what you don't have. Give 'em whatcha got.
