You WiIl Know

Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, "This is the way walk in it." Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.                                                              Isaiah 30:21
In this season moreso than usual many people seem to be expressing an anxious attitude about the next move of God, the next assignment, which direction to take or job opportunity, etc. I know these things are of major importance to all of us. When we were younger in our faith-walk we thought it was all about personal tangible gain and while we need those things to survive, we know now that all of this is so much bigger than that. There is a want to down on the inside and we don't want to make the wrong choice, do the wrong thing or even the right thing with wrong motives.
That is why this scripture is so encouraging to me (and prayerfully to you as well).  The people were being encouraged by God through the prophet that God would be gracious to them even after their missteps. God will teach them the way to go. Through God's guidance they would know the way to go. Verse nineteen stated that God would hear the sound of the cry of the people and answer them. Beloved God hears the sounds of our heart's cry to Him and He answers us by His Spirit and in His time.
Jesus said it this way, "When He the Spirit of truth has come He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak and He will tell you things to come" (John 16:13).
God has a plan and since it is His plan and He created us for Him then it is God who is responsible for working all things together to get us to the expected end. Our job is to wait, not slothful in our deeds but with confident anticipation and expectation while faithfully doing what we are sure He last instructed us to do.
Rest in His Greatness and Ability, Faithfulness and Sovereignty, His all-seeing and all-knowing-ness has not changed. His arm has not grown short!
He will not let you veer off course without telling you. He still knows where you are and how to get in touch with you. Keep praying and wait on Him so that when He says this is the way walk in it, you can get to stepping.
He is faithful and He will do His part. When it's time you will know.

Thank you for this. We must be sensitive to the spirit of Hod and not like the people in Jer 6:16
